Minimalist Halloween Nail Inspo for 2024

I love a seasonally appropriate nail design. But as fun as it is to admire the over-the-top nail inspo on Pinterest, I prefer to keep my own nails somewhat minimalist. Neutrals never do me wrong! That being said, it’s kind of tough to find Halloween nails that channel that clean girl aesthetic. Here are some of my favorites that I’ve found.

Iridescent Mini Ghost Nails

Okay, these are definitely my favorite. They give glazed donut vibes but the blue iridescence adds a fun visual twist. And the little ghosts are WAY too cute. I love them. These are press-on nails from Olive and June- I’m wearing them right now and have been basking in the compliments.

Golden Spiderweb Nails

Spiderwebs are a lot less spooky when they’re gold! I love how delicate and subtle these lines are. Spooky season, but make it elegant. You’ll need a very fine nail detail brush and a ton of patience to achieve this- or a nail tech with a steady hand🙂

Pumpkin Detail Nails

I love pumpkins, but can understand that no everyone wants a full pumpkin set. The variety in each nail keeps this design from screaming halloween- it could just as easily be a general fall theme!

Glittery Blood Drip Nails

A pink ombré will forever live in our minimalist hearts. So what if there’s a little blood in the way? The glitter keeps this set from being too gruesome, but you could totally go with another color if you’d rather have slime-tipped nails rather than bloody ones. It would be just as cute with purple or even green!

Pearl Chrome Mummy Nails

White chrome is that girl. I love how it’s used on the mummy wrappings- it takes the design from childish to elegant. This would look gorgeous with a champagne or off-white chrome powder, too!

Burgundy Glass Nails

Okay, these aren’t super “clean girl”, but they’re also not overtly Halloween themed so I’ve decided I’m allowed to include them. I love the depth and dimension of the magnetic polish, and velvet nails have been everywhere these past few years.

Ghost Tipped Nails

These are too cute! I love that they’re almost playing on the idea of a spooky french tip. The neutral background keeps this design nice and clean. The oval/rounded almond shape lends itself particularly well to the tails of the ghosts, but I think this design could work on any nail shape.

Skeleton Nails

I saw a number of skeleton nail designs, but these were my favorite. Something about those little dudes dancing (from Olive and June) just cracks me up! Both of these designs are pretty detailed, but I think any little bone details would look cute. Even the most dog-bone-esque design would do the trick. The chrome background on the second design really elevates the look, too.

Pumpkin Tipped Nails

French tips? Out. Pumpkin tips? Very in! For a few months, at least. I love this design and did something similar a few years back (with a lot more glitter). I’d love the look of these with a matte polish, too.

Glittery Ghost Nails

What can I say? Apparently I like ghost designs. I love the glitter background on these, and the milky polish gives the ghosts an otherworldly appearance. They remind me a bit of blooming gel nail designs!

Black Cat Nails

Halloween is time to let black cats shine. I love how adorable the big eyes on this set are! And the little sparkle details are *chef’s kiss*. A cat french tip might be the best type of french tip. Can we also take a moment to appreciate how perfect that background nude shade is??

Black and White French Tip Spiderwebs

I’ve been loving black french tips recently, and spiderweb details are the perfect halloween touch. Silver spiderwebs over a white french tip would look cool too!

What halloween nail design are you choosing?

Seasonal nails can be so fun! Hopefully my collection of inspo pics helped inspire you to get some spooky season cheer on your nails. Let me know if you have any questions- some designs don’t have any credit attributed to them, so let me know if you know where those few came from🙂

As always, thanks so much for reading! I’ll see you soon.

xoxo,

Lindsay
