Glow Atelier Liquid Repair Oil Veil | Review

There are few things I love as much as a good facial oil. What better way to lock in your skincare and wake up with soft, hydrated skin? A more recent discovery of mine has been the Liquid Repair Oil Veil from K-Beauty brand Glow Atelier. It comes with a long list of expected results, so let's take a closer look!

Appearance

First of all, the color is gorgeous. There's no artificial colors in this formula- the golden tint comes naturally from Seabuckthorn Oil. The glass bottle showcases a small dried rose preserved in the oil. The dropper is sturdy and doesn't drip excess product upon use.

I love the simple, classic aesthetic of the packaging! This is a bottle I'd be happy to display on my vanity. The rose is a beautiful and unique touch.

Formula

This formula is packed with goodness. Korean skincare doesn't mess around! Glow Atelier highlights their three star ingredients here:

1. Seabuckthorn Oil is naturally antimicrobial, making it great for reducing acne and breakouts.

2. Hokkaido Soybean Oil is rich in fatty acids and vitamins, both of which help to improve collagen production and promote plumper, more elastic skin.

3. Cypress Oil balances the skin's natural oils for a more balanced complexion.

There's also no artificial colors, fragrance, or perfumes. Just the good stuff!

Benefits

The Liquid Repair Oil Veil has a long name and an even longer list of benefits. Among other things, it claims to improve skin elasticity and hydration, reduce the appearance of discoloration and scarring, nourish and reinforce the skin barrier, and fight acne and fine lines. Whew!

While I can only speak to a few of these, I'd say it does a great job doing what facial oils do! It locks hydration into my skin and leaves my face soft and glowy in the morning. It never feels greasy or heavy on my skin. I also appreciate that it can be used in the morning if that's more your style. This would make great skin-prep for an oil-based makeup routine!

Rating

Overall I really enjoy this facial oil! I like to apply it at night after the rest of my skincare. It's more cosmetically elegant and affordable than others in my collection. This one gets a solid five stars from me- just LOOK at that gorgeous drip!
